Book of Creation Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 23, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and 7th Reality Games, LLC ("we," "us"), a Maine company, for your use of the Book of Creation, the digital companion for Mistfall: Armageddon (the "app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The short version

1. Who Can Use the App

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We don't offer accounts for children under 13, and if we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we'll close it and delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy. If you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to use the app.

2. Your Account

You can sign up with Google or with an email address and password. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and don't share or transfer your account. You're responsible for what happens on it. If you think someone else has gotten into your account, change your password (or secure your Google account) and email us.

Your username, bio, avatar, badges, preferred Setting, and Looking for a Group status make up your public profile, which other signed-in users can see. Don't use a username or profile that impersonates someone or breaks the rules in Section 6.

You can delete your account at any time using "Delete my account" on your profile page. If you're the Narrator of a campaign that still has other players, you'll need to hand it off or close it first. Deletion is permanent. If you can't sign in, email us and we'll handle it. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what gets deleted and the few things that are kept.

3. The App Is Free

The Book of Creation is currently free. We plan to offer optional paid features in the future. Before we charge for anything, we'll update these Terms and tell you what's changing. Nothing will be charged without your agreement.

4. Your Content

Characters, campaigns, homebrew, notes, and anything else you create in the app are yours. You give us permission to store, copy, and display your content only as needed to run and improve the app. That includes showing it to the other members of campaigns you share it with. A campaign's basic listing (its name, description, image, Setting, seats, whether it's looking for players, its Narrator, and its members) is visible to any signed-in user; our Privacy Policy explains who can see what. We won't sell your content or use it in our marketing without asking you.

Please only add content you have the right to share, and never anything that breaks the rules in Section 6. Mistfall: Armageddon is always growing, and official content may sometimes resemble something a player made on their own; that doesn't give either of us a claim against the other. If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them freely.

The app is a work in progress, so we recommend keeping copies of anything important. You can print or export your characters, and you can ask us for a copy of your data.

5. Our Content

Mistfall: Armageddon's rules, world, characters, artwork, and names, along with the app itself, belong to 7th Reality Games, LLC and/or Reed Logan Westgate. We give you a personal, non-commercial license to use them in the app for your own games, including printing your own character sheets. Fan content and homebrew outside the app are welcome under the Fair Use Conditions in the Mistfall: Armageddon Core Rulebook. Anything commercial needs our written permission.

6. Rules of Conduct

Be someone your table would want to play with. When you use the app, don't:

You can block or report another account from their profile or a campaign's member list. Reports go to our team for review. If you're worried someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

7. If Something Goes Wrong

We may remove content or restrict, suspend, or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts other players at risk. When we can, we'll tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, email us and a person will take another look.

If you believe something in the app infringes your copyright, email us with the details and we'll review it and remove it where appropriate.

8. No Warranty; Limit on Liability

We work hard to keep the app running and your data safe, but the app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We can't promise it will always be available or error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, 7th Reality Games, LLC and the people behind it aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages or for lost data. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer protection law.

9. Changes

We may change or discontinue features of the app. We may also update these Terms, for example when paid features arrive. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the app after that, you're agreeing to the new Terms. If you ever decide to stop, you can delete your account at any time.

10. Disputes

If you have a problem with the app, please email us first. Most things can be sorted out with a conversation. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, USA, and any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Maine. This doesn't take away any consumer rights you have where you live.
